The Legendary Drifters
The Legendary Drifters have been hailed as the one of the best of its genre on the music scene
today! They reflect the entire presence of one of the most successful acts in the history of American
music, The Drifters. The Legendary Drifters weave a blend of nostalgic magic with on-stage
excitement while performing all the hits.
History of The Drifters
The Drifters story began with the Atlantic Records recording "Money Honey" in 1953. From 1959
through 1964, The Drifters made musical history, setting musical trends for the nation and the
world to follow! In 1959, The Drifters presented their first million record seller, "There Goes My
Baby," which was followed by the two-sided smash hits "Dance with Me" and "True Love." January,
1960, saw The Drifters hit the charts with the fantastic sounds of "This Magic Moment." In the
summer of this same, everyone was humming and singing the song that would become The
Drifters second million record seller "Save the Last Dance for Me." "Some Kind of Wonderful" and
"Up on the Roof," on the same album, became their third million record sellers with the exciting
follow-up "On Broadway." The group's fourth million record seller, "Under the Boardwalk," was
followed by "Sand in My Shoes" and Saturday Night at the Movies!"
Today
The music continues today with a number of musical groups including; The Legendary Drifters
who are lead by the sweet tenor voice of Lee Logan. Logan has had the pleasure of singing with
The Legendary Drifters for almost 40 years and has traveled the world over singing the timeless
hits!
Logan is joined by Yohan Harbin, Jerry Hendrix and Ed Collins and together they have formed one
great team, vowing to never let the magic die! Come and share the most electrifying experience in
the entertainment world today, enjoying rave reviews worldwide.
